| Wow it's been a while. Just finished taking a survey that promised 3 minutes of my time. It took 5 so now I have to go do my psych study. Will update if time permits in combination with my rememberance.

| Thanks Jeana for your reminder. Without your comment I would have left my account for who knows how long? (Rhetorical question by the way.) So okay. A while ago I was doing some thinking (crazy eh?) and I came to a realization. But first, let me tell a little story: There was this girl who went to a new school. She didn't know anyone until a group of girls decided to befriend her. At first, things were great and she had a blast with them. They did lots of things for eachother and hung out quite often. Then later on, she noticed something. She couldn't put her finger on it exactly but there was this feeling of inequality between herself and the other girls. It was in the way they talked to her or how they interacted with her vs. eachother. Now, when you read that, you either make up conclusions as to what the reasons are for the girls' behaviour or you leave judgements behind until you've read the entire story. Personally, I'd just leave judgements and figure out things after I've read everything. But in real life you can't do that. There just isn't enough time for it. Before you know it summer arrives, school's over and people sort out their social issues then or it gets lost in that lazy time of summer. While you're living the moment, you can't see the entire story because your life is not a finished novel. All you can do is figure out what the best action is based on the current evidence at hand. It's also important to make projections like where you think things will go and use that data to figure out what to do next. Should she stay with them? Should she find her friends from her old school whom she can be more equal with? What would she be sacrificing? What would she gain from either action? As you go through life, and you experience numerous situations like that, you make different choices. Based on the consequences of those choices, you use those results to justify what your future actions will be. The realization I came to was in the general concept of what friendship is. This entry is quite long and I'm running out of time so I won't explain what it is to me right now. Perhaps if we have a conversation we could make it a discussion. So my questions is, what is friendship? I know it is a very abstract question and it can go anywhere but take into account what I've written about. | | |
| Hello everry bohdi!
Would youh rike sohm caurry feesh barrls? Just kidding. I don't actually have curry fish balls available for you guys to eat. It's been a while since I last updated...lets see here...things are going good. Stuff got sorted, figured out, resolved, revealed and it's awesome. Of course some things take time.
Time is like a buffer/regulator/neutralizer thing. With time, it heals all, it also slowly and subtly erodes things away without you realizing. It takes quite a bit of effort to fight against the current but in the end, it's worth it because you know you worked hard for what you have. There are many things that are worth striving for. Are you willing to do it for your friends? Will you make the effort to fight against the tides of time and keep what you have? Or are you more of the type to just let things flow and see where life takes you?
Something to ponder...^_^

| Monday English was really fun. Ms Eisner had fun talking about symbolism. I like thunderstorms too. Live monkey brain where the brain is still in the monkey I can never ever eat even if my life depended on it. Some things I just can't do. I passed out (I bet you though I 'passed out' as in fainted when you read 'passed out' right after the monkey brain didn't you?) Canned Food Drive papers with Pattie as well. I'm too tired to remember what happened beyond those things. There's probably more. Don't take offense if something crazy happened and it's not here while it involved you somehow. I seriously can't remember. But yea...today I can recall.
Tuesday I went to an ICBC adjustor to talk about the car accident. I got $1500!!! Unfortunately I can't get my hands on it until I turn 19. I hope it goes through...money is nice :) Today during study block a bunch of us were writing on a sheet of paper with people's names on it and about "The plasmid membrane is a phospholipid bilayer". When it was suggested to write with our left hands, all of us (about 4-6 hands I think) did this simultaneously. Richard is the new Stephen because Ms Barnes called him that. Shayna and I decided to do some research about grand pianos for Stephen's b-day prezzie because that's what he wanted. Unfortunately the cheapest one we saw was around $15 000. Just slightly out of our budget. Sorry :P I hung out with Kelly's gang today after school because I was going to go volunteer at SV today. I ended up not volunteering because today was a video movie day where the kids sat quietly and watched a Christmas movie. I then proceeded return to where everyone was (Kelly's gang, we were at Douglas's) and got to play stepmania and drink cranberry ginger ale, watch Youtube, Scrubs, then listen to crazy music.
Afterwards, I had to go volunteer at Holy Family because I was assisting with Christmas Baking. Unfortunately, it was the temp's first day so I think he was expecting me to do more stuff. Unfortunately I didn't contribute as much as I was being expected of? I dunno...well anyways, I got to bake cookies, talk to the rehab people there and did dishes. It was pretty fun and the people are nice. I think I was being too nice though. To myself I sounded fake. I don't think they noticed, maybe it's just me. It's a bad thing to sound fake but, I was motivationally sincere so I have no qualms regarding my actions.
I missed El Divo concert on channel 27 AGAIN!!! My sister and I were eating and watching Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban (I missed dindin). Afterwards, we watched Victoria Secret. The models and lingerie pieces are sooo sexy! JT did well singing and dancing. I was really impressed with his stamina. It was crazy how the models run after their 30 seconds on the catwalk to get changed for their next 30 second appearance. They make a living off their looks and body.
Today was fun.
